My approach

Enhance, never mask

I've worked in makeup for over ten years, and bridal is the part I love most. When you look in the mirror on your wedding morning, you should still recognise yourself, with fresher skin, brighter eyes and a finish that holds up to happy tears.

Some brides want barely-there and glowy. Others want lashes, sculpted skin and a statement lip. I'm comfortable with all of it, and your trial is where we find exactly what suits you.

If you don't normally wear much makeup, you're in good hands. Plenty of my brides say the same.

“For someone who doesn't really wear make up on the daily, she made me look and feel incredible but still feeling like me.”

The experience

What it's like having me there

The makeup matters. So does how the room feels while it's being done.

Calm

The makeup chair should be where you relax, not another thing to think about. I keep the pace steady and the mood easy.

Organised

Before the day I put together a detailed timeline, so everyone knows when they're in the chair and the morning runs to plan.

Personal

There's no standard bridal face. I listen to what you want and build the look around your features, your dress and your style.

Experienced

Over a decade in makeup means I know how wedding mornings really go, and how to keep things on track when they don't.

Long-lasting

Your skin is prepped and your makeup built to wear through tears, hugs, warm weather and dancing. It's the thing my brides mention most.

More than makeup

If there's something I can help with on the morning, I will. An extra pair of calm hands is part of the job.

Where your look comes together

Your trial is part of your bridal booking. It's an unhurried two-hour appointment at my studio in Brockworth, Gloucester, usually one to four months before the wedding.

  • We talk through your vision, your dress and any inspiration photos
  • We look at your skin and how best to prep it in the run-up
  • We try tones, finishes and lash options side by side
  • I build the full look, then we refine it until it's right
  • You leave knowing exactly what you'll be wearing on the day
“Charly was so attentive, listened to everything I wanted… I didn't change a single thing from the trial to the wedding day because it was already perfect!”

Your wedding morning

A morning that runs smoothly

I arrive with time to set up before the first person sits down. Everyone has their slot on the timeline, so nobody's rushing and you're not watching the clock.

Your makeup is the look we perfected at your trial. Before I leave, I'll do your final touch-ups so you walk out feeling ready.

“Having Charly there was such a lovely part of getting ready. She was calm, friendly and made everyone feel so comfortable.”
Phoebe · Bride

Your bridal party

Your people, looked after

Everyone in the photos should feel as good as you do.

Bridesmaids

Polished, camera-ready makeup that suits each of them, with lashes included.

Mothers of the bride & groom

Comfortable, flattering makeup that looks lovely in photos, lashes included.

Flower girls under 12

A light touch: a little lip gloss, mascara and blush.

Bigger party or tight timings? I can bring a trusted second artist so the morning still runs on time.

“Charly did my makeup, my mum's and both of my bridesmaids' for my wedding day and absolutely smashed it.”

Real brides

Every bride, her way

Soft, glowing, defined or full glam. Every one of these is a real bride on her wedding day.

How booking works

Simple, step by step

  1. Enquire

Tell me your date, venue and who needs makeup.

  2. I check my diary

If I'm free, I'll send you my bridal guide with pricing, what's included and how booking works.

  3. Request your quote

If it feels like the right fit, ask for your personalised quote and I'll put it together around your party and location.

  4. Secure your date

Your date is reserved once your deposit is paid. An enquiry on its own doesn't hold it.

  5. Your trial

Two hours at my studio in Brockworth, usually one to four months before the wedding.

  6. The morning

I arrive with the plan already set and get everyone ready.

Good to know

Your questions

Will I still look like myself?

Yes, that's the whole idea. I enhance rather than mask, and we fine-tune the look together at your trial until you're completely happy with it.

I don't usually wear much makeup. Is that OK?

Absolutely. Lots of my brides rarely wear makeup. We'll keep it as soft as you like, and the trial means nothing on the day comes as a surprise.

Will my makeup last all day?

Skin prep and product choice are built for a long day, and we test it at your trial. Brides regularly tell me theirs lasted through the dancing, and the summer heat.

Do you come to my venue?

Yes. On the wedding morning I come to you, across Gloucestershire, the Cotswolds and surrounding areas. Travel is quoted individually based on your location.

Can you do a big bridal party?

I allow around an hour per person. For larger parties or tight timings, I work alongside a trusted second artist so everyone's ready on time.

Where can I see your prices?

Once I've confirmed I'm free on your date, I'll send you my bridal guide with full pricing and everything that's included.

Let's check your date

Send me your wedding date and a few details. If I'm free, I'll send over my bridal guide with everything you need to know.
